Getting started with Fennor: your first day
A fresh workspace. A few familiar names. A clear next step.
1. Give your workspace a name
Start a trial with your name, email, business name and a unique password of at least 12 characters. Save your one-time recovery code in a password manager. You’ll use that code to reset your password if you forget it.
2. Add a useful first contact
Open Contacts and choose Add contact. Start with a name, company and email or phone. Choose a relationship and an owner. Add tags that mean something to your team, such as a service area or the type of work you do together.
3. Capture the context
Open the contact and add a note. Write what the team should know, what was agreed and what needs to happen next. Calls, emails and meetings can be logged separately. Logging an email creates a record and does not send a message.
4. Make the next step specific
Add a task from the contact record. Give it a title that says what to do, set a date and choose its owner. The task appears on the record, in the shared task list and in the monthly calendar.
5. Make the workspace fit
Admins can choose deal currency, pipeline stages and project stages in Settings. Add a custom field when you need a repeatable detail that standard fields don’t cover. Keep field names clear enough for a new colleague to understand.
6. Bring your team together
Create an invitation in Settings, copy the link and share it with the colleague it belongs to. They sign up or sign in with that email address and accept the invitation. The owner controls billing; admins manage workspace settings and invitations; members work with contacts, tasks and shared records.
7. Choose a small daily habit
Open Recent activity at the start of the day. Check overdue work, add a note after a conversation and leave a clear next step before closing the contact. You can import the rest of your contacts when you’re ready.
Next: Import your existing contacts.
